In this study, it is aimed to determine the problems faced by teachers in teaching Turkish to Turkish children abroad. The data were collected from 15 teachers working in Turkish public schools operating in Kyrgyzstan in the 2021-2022 academic year, consisting of Turkish teaching and classroom teaching branches. Teachers were named as “Participants”, and “K1”, “K2” etc. are coded as. . The study was designed according to the interview method based on the qualitative approach. In the study, the participant was selected according to the purposeful sampling method. A semi-structured interview form was used in data collection, and content analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data. 95 answers were obtained from the collected data, and the frequencies and percentages of these answers were used. According to the findings obtained from the research, the highest frequency findings obtained from the problems faced by teachers in teaching Turkish to Turkish children abroad are: Students speaking among themselves in languages other than Turkish, Having students from different nationalities in the classroom, negatively affecting the Turkish comprehension skill, as it reduces in-class interaction, family members do not speak Turkish at home and do not watch Turkish television channels, Since the alphabet used in the child's country of residence is different from the Latin alphabet, It has been found that the means of access to Turkish resources and course materials are insufficient. Suggestions were made according to the findings obtained.
