The purpose of this study is to examine the learning modality of students learning Turkish as a foreign language and to make suggestions to the instructors working in this field. For this purpose, learning modality of 72 students studying Turkish in B1, B2, C1 and Academic Turkish levels at a state university in the Marmara Region were examined according to the variables of gender, age, education level, Turkish language level and the number of foreign languages they know. Relational survey model was used to describe the current situation in the research. In order to measure the learning modality of the students, the Personal Information Form developed by the researcher and the BIG16 Learning Modality Inventory developed by Şimşek (2002) were used. The data of the research were analyzed with SPSS 24.0 data analysis program and ANOVA and t-test was applied according to the variables. In the research, it was concluded that the students generally preferred to use all learning modality at the same time.
