Yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde kültür aktarımının ve günlük iletişimin en önemli araçlarından olan atasözleri ve deyimlerin, Türkçe öğrenenler için hazırlanmış kitaplardaki durumunu incelemek amacıyla yapılan çalışmada atasözleri ve deyimlerin seviyelere, ünitelere, ders ve çalışma kitaplarındaki dağılımlarına ve en çok kullanılan deyimler göre incelenmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenenler için hazırlanmış tüm ders ve çalışma kitapları oluştururken, örneklemini Yeni İstanbul Uluslararası Öğrenciler İçin Türkçe A1- A2 ders ve çalışma kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Atasözleri ve deyimlerin incelenmesinde Türk Dil Kurumu Atasözleri ve Deyimler sözlüğünden yararlanılmış, ders ve çalışma kitabındaki okuma, dinleme/izleme, dil bilgisi ve etkinlikler içerisinde yer alan atasözleri ve deyimler incelenerek sayılarına göre frekans ve yüzdelik dağılımları tablolarla sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda A1 ve A2 seviyesinde 2 atasözüne rastlanılmıştır. A1 seviyesinde 46 ders kitabında ve 18 çalışma kitabında toplam 64 deyime, A2 seviyesinde ise 110 ders kitabında ve 68 çalışma kitabında toplam 178 deyime yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Her iki seviyede en çok ‘ziyaret etmek’, ‘hoş geldin’’ ve ‘’geç kalmak’’ deyimlerinin kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda deyimlerin sayısının her iki seviyede de ders kitaplarında daha çok kullanıldığı, A2 seviyesinde A1 seviyesinden daha fazla deyime yer verildiği ve deyim sayısının ünitelere göre dağılımında farklılıkların olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

: In the study carried out to examine the situation of proverbs and idioms, which are the most important tools of cultural transfer and daily communication in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, in the books prepared for Turkish learners, the levels, units, distribution of the proverbs and idioms in the textbook and workbooks, and the most used idioms were examined. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. While the universe of the research consists of all the textbooks and workbooks prepared for learners of Turkish as a foreign language, the sample consists of the New Istanbul Turkish for International Students A1- A2 textbooks and workbooks. The dictionary of Proverbs and Idioms of the Turkish Language Institution was used in the examination of proverbs and idioms, and the frequency and percentage distributions according to their numbers were presented in tables by examining the proverbs and idioms included in reading, listening/watching, grammar and activities in the textbook and workbook. As a result of the research, 2 proverbs were found at A1 and A2 levels. It has been determined that a total of 64 idioms are included in 46 textbooks and 18 workbooks at A1 level, and a total of 178 idioms in 110 textbooks and 68 workbooks at A2 level. It has been observed that the phrases ' ziyaret etmek' (make a visit), 'hoş geldin'' (welcome) and 'Geç kalmak' (to be late) are mostly used at both levels. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that the number of idioms is used more in the textbooks at both levels, more idioms are included at the A2 level than at the A1 level, and there are differences in the distribution of the number of idioms according to the units.
