The materials used in the process of teaching Turkish to foreigners play an important role in the development of language skills and make the learning process more efficient and interactive. In this context, the Academic Turkish Language Skills for International Students textbook is an important educational resource designed especially for the acquisition of academic language skills. This article aims to comprehensively evaluate the formal and content features of the Academic Turkish Language Skills for International Students textbook. In line with this purpose, how the textbook was designed in terms of its formal features (cover, page and text design, typeface, printing features, size, paper quality, binding) and content features (education-teaching aspect, themes, learning outcomes, activities, assessment and evaluation) were analyzed. The data of the study were collected through document analysis, one of the qualitative data collection methods. The data obtained through descriptive analysis were analyzed in line with the determined themes. This analysis aimed to reveal the strengths of the book and the areas in need of improvement. As a result of the evaluations, it was determined that the Academic Turkish Language Skills for International Students textbook offers rich content to improve the four basic language skills and vocabulary of international students learning Turkish and offers various strategies that facilitate the language learning process. With these features, the book is a unique resource in terms of both content and methodology and is a pioneering work in its field.
